What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa classes flow through a series of poses, combining breath with movement, to foster strength, flexibility, and focus. Typically a class begins with a warm-up of gentler stretching and movement, increasing in pace and effort through a series of Sun Salutations, then moving into a combination of balancing poses, twists, stretches, and inversions, and finishing in quiet relaxation on the floor.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini, the yoga of awareness, combines repetitive movements tied to breath, mantra, and mudras (hand/finger positions) chanting (if comfortable). Perfection and precision of poses is less important than dropping into the flow of energy of the movements and breath.
Combining Kundalini and Vinyasa yoga in one session supports strength and flexibility, as well as improving better emotional, physical, and mental balance.

For centuries, yogis have harnessed the transformative power of breath to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional well-being, as well as achieving higher spiritual states. This ancient wisdom is now being confirmed by modern science, showing that breathwork can boost your immune system, balance your nervous system, improve sleep, lower blood pressure, and increase energy levels.

All of these practices are accessible to every-body, as poses, breath, mantra, and movement can be modified based on each students interests and needs.
Let's take to Salt Lake City's nearby trails for some good 'ole heart thumping trail time and nature, combined with guided moving meditations and breathwork practices that will improve your strength, lung-capacity and energy levels. Your mind and body will feel alive, grounded, and ready to embrace whatever is next on your agenda for the day.
Hike Details
Location, length and distance based on client wishes. Typically 1.5 - 3 hours, approximately 2.5 - 4 miles, with some elevation gain.
Groups of 3 or more - $33 per person
These hikes are accessible to people who are at a moderate aerobic fitness level +.
Each hike includes a brief initial breathwork session at the trailhead to begin to expand lung capacity, with mindfulness and breathwork practices along the way that are focused on cultivating strength, calm and awareness while we move our bodies.
Hikes can take place any season with recommendations for clothing, etc. based on season.
A bottle of water and Lara Bar is provided. Hikers bring their own pack to carry these items, and any additional water, snacks, and supplies.
